Design as a tool for change

“What is the most flexible in a room? You! Design needs to relate to the development of people, to the development of our mind and body. It’s not just an instrument of decoration, but a tool for change. Rosan Bosch at TEDx in Indianapolis 2013.

Rosan Bosch Studio is an interdisciplinary agency working in the cross-field of art, design and architecture. We believe that the physical environment makes a difference to the way we act in the world. Therefore we use interior design as active tool to create change - whether it comes to urban spaces, schools or workplaces.

Our portfolio ranges from small art and development projects to total designs of schools, libraries and private companies. We base each project on the customer's specific challenges and customize the design solution to the people who will use it in everyday life.

With a focus on creativity and innovation we convert ideas into physical product and create spaces and environments that make a difference. See examples of our projects.

How we work

Does your school, company or organization need a new motivating and inspiring environment? Read more about how we work and how we can help you create change through design.

Rosan Bosch Studio is a team of artists, architects, designers and academics who work with architectural projects, design, communication and process management as well as user introduction. Furthermore, we collaborate with a number of partners, specialists and suppliers.

All our projects are developed in close cooperation with the customers, users and partners to ensure coherence between form, content and function.

We split our projects into different phases, each with specific finance and time horizon. For each project a creative taskforce is gathered who follow the project through all its phases; from concept development, design, budgeting and supervision to construction management.

About Rosan Bosch

Rosan Bosch Studio is founded by the Dutch-born artist Rosan Bosch, who has worked professionally with art, design and architecture for more than twenty years.

Through interdisciplinary projects Rosan Bosch uses the creativity as a tool for innovation and change. She questions entrenched cultures and traditions, and creates possibilities for new ways of thinking and acting:

“Modern society calls for lifelong learners, problem solvers and creative thinkers! It calls for those who are prepared for a future of ongoing knowledge flow and development. By using design as a tool, I believe it is possible to turn our physical environments into meaningful and significant experiences that will prepare us for future challenges.” Rosan Bosch at TEDx in Indianapolis 2013.

As a Dutch-born artist, Rosan Bosch has had an international launch pad for her professional work. She is partly educated at Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, Utrecht, Holland, and partly at Universitat de Bellas Artes, Barcelona, Spain. Before settling in Denmark, Rosan Bosch has among other places lived in Spain and Belgium for many years.

Rosan Bosch Studio is placed in Copenhagen and was established the 1st of January 2011. Rosan Bosch was partner in the art and design company Bosch & Fjord from 2001-2010.
